A homicide investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was found lying in the driveway of the former Armory building on Main Street in New Rochelle.
Detectives from the department’s General Investigations and Forensic Units are currently on scene investigating the incident. The body was found at approximately 7:40 a.m. on Friday, July 27.
New Rochelle Police Capt. Robert Gazzola said that the Westchester County District Attorney and Medical Examiner’s offices have also been notified of the homicide.
The cause of death and identity of the victim have not been released.
